APPLICATION FOR GRANTS FOR THE 9THICCG MEXICO
As part of the political stance of the ICCG and following the experiences of previous editions in support of those who have less possibilities to participate for economic reasons, the Organizing Committee offers 35 SCHOLARSHIPS in 4 categories:
5 Full Scholarships: US$600 for transportation + 5 nights lodging in shared dormitories + registration to the Congress.
5 Medium Scholarships: US$300 for transportation + 5 nights lodging in shared dormitories + Congress registration.
5 Basic Scholarships: 5 nights lodging in shared dormitories + registration to the Congress
20 Minimum Scholarships: Congress registration fee.
It is worth mentioning that the money for transportation will be reimbursed upon arrival at the Congress, as we will not be able to pay for it beforehand. This is to be taken into account when applying and accepting the support, in case you are selected.
We also want to tell you that, in addition to these scholarships, we are waiting to confirm the number of people who can be supported directly by the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation, which is committed to pay for the transportation of those accepted and coming from Cuba, Guatemala, Costa Rica and Nicaragua.

The following criteria will be taken into account for eligibility (the order does not represent priority): 1) Being a woman or non-binary person, 2) Being a student, 3) Being an activist, social or community connection, 4) Not having a permanent job, 5) Coming from low-income countries, 6) Belonging to functional diversity, 7) Having dependents, 8) Belonging to a native people, 9) Not having institutional support. Priority in the selection process will be based on the highest fulfillment of these criteria.
The call for applications for these scholarships opens on June 5. It will remain open until June 25 at 23:59 CDMX time. The results will be announced on July 5 via email to those selected.
We know that there are many people interested in applying for scholarships and we would love to be able to support all of them. However, unfortunately it will be impossible due to our funding limitations. Therefore, we look forward to your understanding of the results. If at a later date we visualize other feasible funding possibilities (which we cannot guarantee at this time), we will consider them in order to be able to offer you more support, starting with a waiting list of the applicants who were left out of the scholarship selection process.
